Dad, Chris and son, Nicholas, recent guests at the Port of the Islands Resort, stopped into our office to view some of the many photographs dotting our walls. After a brief discussion, Dad decided to take Nicholas out with Captain Jimmy to fish in the Gulf of Mexico for the first time. While Nicholas slowly became an expert on the art of catching Catfish, one after another; the father/son team did manage to keep five very nice Sea Trout which were later taken to a local restaurant for dinner. Once again, it’s very rewarding to see young fishermen spent time with us and go away with great memories. At Double R’s we love family fishing.
