Jerry Schultz and his daughter, Jessica, joined Captain Jim on April 28, 2011, for a backwater fishing trip in the Ten Thousand Islands. The pair practiced “catch and release” on an endless number of Mangrove Snapper. Prior to the trip, Jerry and I realized that we were from neighboring towns on the Jersey Shore; and in fact, fished the same “head” boats out of Atlantic Highlands. Small World! We’re sure this family will visit us on their next trip to the Gulf Coast.
